a new day lays waiting ahead,
a new hour rises before me.
this minute unfolds…
and I stand centered in this moment of now.

as I breath in the essence of this day,
my breath mixing with the world
becoming part of the communal breeze
my heart beating louder
making little ripples of vibration in the surrounding air…

& my mind scatters like stars in the heavenly skies.

what do I reach for…
what do I desire,
what is my contribution,
how can I serve.

my soul whispers
with love
with love
with sweet, sweet love

my resistance fades and the fear of boredom escapes me.

lost, is the dullness of the fantasy… of releasing
and the imagined emptiness after letting go.

and new moment unfolds and shows a brilliant opportunity.
just as the days gone by.
the weeks, months and years
filled with dreams, longings and tiptoeing to freedom.

today and even now
my wishes will be sung into the winds, carried far, settling over clouds, 
blessings raining onto fields in distance places

never knowing how this kindness may nurture…
always trusting, in the beauty and power
of gentle, far reaching, conscious compassion
